I took my Telc German exam at this school today and had a smooth experience. The exam was very well organized from start to finish. The staff were friendly and helpful, everything ran on time, and there was convenient parking nearby, which made the whole visit stress-free. If you’re looking for a teacher who goes the extra mile to help you understand and love German—a teacher who truly cares—Fatime Abdiu is the one. She has a deep understanding of German grammar and the language itself. She’ll help you, support you, celebrate your progress, and almost cry with you when you feel defeated. German isn’t an easy language, but she really has a way of making you look forward to your lessons with optimism and a desire to learn. I had an excellent experience with ILS Zurich. The welcome, in particular, was outstanding—the staff member was very friendly and helpful. The entire team at ILS Zurich is very friendly, supportive, and always happy to help with any questions about courses, payment options, private lessons, or language exams. The super-intensive course is well-structured, engaging, and never feels overwhelming. Vera is an outstanding and highly supportive teacher who goes beyond the textbook and consistently provides additional exercises whenever we need extra practice, such as with grammar. Sign language courses in the heart of Zurich Oerlikon.

Language does not always have to take place through acoustic sounds. Sign language offers an alternative system of communication that is mainly visualised through gestures and facial expressions. Through visual language systems, deaf and hearing-impaired people have the opportunity for social and cultural participation in the hearing world.

For hearing people, learning sign language is a special challenge: They have to learn to communicate not through sounds but through arms, hands, posture and facial expressions.

You can find sign language courses for hearing people at ILS-Zürich . The language courses are based on Swiss German Sign Language (DSGS).

Choose between private lessons as an individual course or in a small group that you form yourself. Our experienced sign language course teachers design the lessons according to your wishes. Book one of our lesson packages from 10 to 60 and schedule your lessons when it suits you best. The courses can take place at our premises in Bern, Basel and Zurich or at your location. More flexibility is not possible!
