Is it possible to take the Telc exam online?
Telc offers the TOP test, a professional online placement test for companies and universities. The TOP test offers the possibility to assess the language level of the participants easily and in a short time. However, no Telc certificate can be acquired through the online TOP test, it only serves to assess the language level of the person who has taken it.
The Telc language examinations with which graduates can obtain a certificate must be taken on site at a licensed examination centre such as the ILS.
How long does the Telc exam take?
The Telc A1 exam takes 65min in writing (20min listening/45min reading and writing) and 11min orally.
The Telc A2 exam takes 70min in writing (20min listening/ 50min reading and writing) and 15min orally.
The Telc B1 exam takes 2h 30min in writing (90 min reading comprehension/ 30min listening comprehension/ 30min written expression) and 15min orally.
The Telc B2 exam takes 2h and 35min in writing (90min reading comprehension/ 30min listening comprehension/ 30min written expression) and 15min orally.

How can I prepare for the Telc exam?
